The Daikin AURORA Wall Mount (RXT outdoor, FTXV indoor) is part of Daikin's AURORA series — a lineup specifically engineered for enhanced performance in extreme temperatures. While Phoenix winters are mild, the AURORA's cold-climate capability means it never struggles with heating even on the coldest desert nights.
The 9,000 BTU AURORA achieves an impressive 21.0 SEER2 for cooling and HSPF2 10.2 for heating — one of the strongest heating efficiency ratings in the wall-mount category. What makes this truly remarkable is the heating capacity at low temperatures: the 9,000 BTU unit can produce 10,900 BTU of heat even when it's cold outside, well above its nominal rating.
The FTXV indoor unit features a refined design with a gentle-curve housing that blends elegantly into modern interiors. The auto-swing louvers sweep air throughout the room, and the intelligent airflow control maintains your preferred temperature precisely without drafts or temperature swings.
