About the Daikin OTERRA™
The Daikin OTERRA (RXF-BV outdoor, FTXF-BV indoor) is one of the most popular mini-split series in Arizona because it hits the sweet spot of premium efficiency and attractive pricing. At 21 SEER2, it comfortably exceeds the DOE's new efficiency standards and qualifies for many utility incentives.
The OTERRA uses Daikin's variable-speed inverter compressor technology, which continuously adjusts output to maintain your set temperature with precision. This eliminates temperature swings and reduces energy waste compared to older on/off systems — your home stays comfortable and your electric bill stays lower.
For heating, the OTERRA is impressive. The 9,000 and 12,000 BTU units achieve an HSPF2 of 10.2, meaning they deliver highly efficient heat even in cooler weather. While Phoenix winters are mild, the OTERRA handles nighttime temperatures comfortably and efficiently.
The indoor unit features a slim wall-mount profile that blends into any room decor. The auto-swing louvers distribute air evenly throughout the space, and the multi-speed fan ensures you can dial in the perfect airflow for any comfort preference.
